Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates (SAFc) represent the certified environmental attributes of SAF, decoupled from the underlying physical fuel volumes.
SAFc convey certified information about the environmental attributes of a given SAF volume, including carbon intensity and emissions reductions compared to conventional jet fuel. SAFc can be used to substantiate emission reduction claims by air transport providers, aviation customers, and logistics service providers.
